What is the first step in hiring a marketing consulting firm? 

Ask questions.  You may think you need to have a marketing in plan in place and then hire a firm to tweak and implement. Don't wait! You may never get there!  This is a "discovery" process and we listen, then ask YOU questions, then do more listening.  This is your business, your budget, your success. We are here to facilitate.

Can I afford it? Can you afford NOT too? 

Every business, not matter how small (and even smaller marketing budget)needs to market the business.  But what?  We offer strategies that are innovative and effective for your business and goals. How can you use your budget most effectively? That's the question.  We have the answers!

Can I hire the firm for specific projects and keep other marketing tasks in house?

Of course! If you know where you are going and how you are going to get there but don't have the time or expertise to implement it all...do what you can and let us take some of the load off!

Isn't a Marketing Plan a waste of time and money? 

Absolutely NOT! It can be as simple as an outline of goals for the business and a list of marketing strategies to implement.

Why do press releases? 

Press releases give you a venue to promote your business. News Bureaus distribute to target audiences and if you have a new product or new facilities - it's presented as NEWS and that's always more exciting than an advertisement in a publication.

What would be the benefit of paying for someone to manage my tradeshows?  

When you add the logistics of a tradeshow to an already busy schedule,the pre/post marketing gets overlooked.  How many times have you collected leads and not followed up?  It doesn't have to be that way.  We can manage pre-show marketing (let them know where you will be) and help with post-show followup.

Isn't direct mail expensive and it's never effective!

Direct mail is not for the faint of heart! But, it can be a very effective tool if you choose your target correctly, have a piece with the right marketing message and use it as part of a broader campaign.

Do I need An expert for Package Design?

That depends but just for starters all packaging should have a compelling marketing message. Then consider the regulations (nutritional labels for example), retail shelving requirements, shipping requirements, etc.  It's endless.  See case study


I have a website....my internet marketing is covered...right?

No! No! and No! Having just a website is like having a business phone that only accepts calls from people who know your phone number from memory! People need to find your site, stay awhile, get the info they want...and more. Then...you need to consider search engine rankings, adwords, online directories, banner advertising..the list is endless.

Why would I want or need to hire experts when the internet offers free websites?

Answer this..one lost sale costs you how much? If your website doesn't look professional, provide information, is hard to navigate or never found, then you lost sales and that costs money. There are number of free website development programs out there but do you really want to risk your business.  Add to that the time you would spend on getting a free site live, without much support! Now that free website isn't so free!   

What are adwords?

Adwords are advertisements placed on search engines such as Google and Yahoo.  You see them everytime you do a search...those columns of ads at the very top and right hand side of your screen.  When you click on the ad, the business who placed that ad pays the search engine for the clicks..it's called Pay Per Click....read more
